The Glory Of Heaven

While in prayer I dwelt on the goodness of heaven and it was most glorious.  It is a land of perfect purity.  Satan and his demons shall never enter there.  Never again will an impure suggestion be whispered in our ears by that wicked host.  Never again will an evil thought need to be banished from our minds.  Never again will the pull of sin need to be resisted.  Never again will we need to flee to the throne of grace in prayer, to gain strength to resist the evil one.  We shall see the throne of grace, and Him who was pierced for us, face to face.

We shall walk past people on the streets and instead of others pulling out cigarettes from a box, they shall pull out flowers which shall never fade.  Never again will there be another wicked billboard, never again an evil television commercial.  Never again will a woman pass by immodestly dressed.  Never again will Satan be able to tempt mankind.  Never again will an unkind word be spoken.  There shall be no more arguments, no more hatred, no more offensive words spoken. Never again will sin occur.  “Affliction will not rise up a second time” (Nahum 1:9) The redeemed stand with palm branches of victory in their hands.  Their victory is won; the battle against sin is ended.  Jesus is victorious and reigns forever more.

Never shall someone die in a hospital or in any other place.  “There shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, there shall be no more pain for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).  “The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the LORD.” (Isaiah 65:25) Children shall play in the streets free from the watch care of their anxious parents, not a single atom in the universe shall be able to harm them now.  “They shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.” (Ezekiel 34:28) All this can be yours if you are faithful.  It will be better than this.  For “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.  Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless.  Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (2 Corinthians 4:17, 2 Peter 3:14, Matthew 6:33)
