I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting ~ 1 Timothy 2:8
It was Daniel who was highly favored by the Lord and who prayed three times a day. How many of God’s servants today, especially the men, take time to seek the Lord in earnest fervent prayer three times a day? Some may say, to take 20-30 minutes out of my schedule three times a day is too much. I’m busy and simply do not have enough time. I ask you, how busy was Daniel? King Darius the ruler of the world’s superpower at that time sought to make Daniel a modern day Vice President (see Daniel 6:3). If Daniel, as busy as he was can make time to pray earnestly three times a day, then so can we. It is not that we cannot afford to take time to pray, but rather that we cannot afford not to.
